RV Industry Association President Craig Kirby spoke to Forbes Magazine this week about the potential for a boom in RV travel this year resulting from social distancing.
Kirby said RVs could play a big role in the re-emergence of domestic travel and family vacations after the coronavirus pandemic subsides. He spoke about the value of self-sufficient travel, and shed light on how the RV industry can capitalize on the desire to socially distance.
Kirby said he expects American families to have a strong need to travel the country after restrictions related to the COVID-19 crisis are lifted. He said many people could still be weary of group transportation such as airplanes or trains, and that RVs could provide a valuable option for domestic travel.
