North Carolina RV Dealers Association’s (NCRVDA) annual Fall RV Show & Sale will feature its first Ford Towing Boot Camp.
The show runs from Aug. 23-25 at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Ford Motor Co. employees will prepare consumers to tow trailers through hands-on training and instruction.
NCRVDA Executive Director Jeff Haughton said, “Bringing this important education to the enthusiastic RVers in North Carolina will help to make RVing safer for everyone.”
The boot camp will cover:
- Towing basics including braking, turning and weight distribution.
- Equipment education.
- Hitch and unhitching guidance.
- Behind-the-wheel training in backing up, parking and road navigation while towing.
