Forest River’s Type C motorhomes will feature rooftop air conditioners from a new supplier in the 2022 model year.
The Forester, Solera and Sunseeker motorhomes will be outfitted with GE Appliances’ 15,000 BTU rooftop air conditioner with heat pump. The product was released in August 2020 to the RV industry. GE Appliances said it features advanced home comfort technology.
GE Appliances’s patent-pending Auto Changeover feature leverages Auto Defrost, enabling the air conditioner to work down to 25° Fahrenheit outside. Additionally, GE Appliances said the product offers integrations and enhancements for any unit including an intuitive thermostat, several control options and RV-CAN Control capabilities.
