Forest River will close a No Boundaries (NoBo) plant in Goshen, Indiana, as part of a strategic reorganization with the manufacturer’s NoBo and Ibex brands.
The plant closure notice came in a Feb. 13 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filed with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
With the NoBo plant closure, scheduled to take place in late April, Forest River will combine NoBo and Ibex manufacturing into the current Ibex plant in Ligonier, Indiana. Both brands will continue making travel trailers.
The NoBo plant, located at 1702 Century Drive in Goshen, will be transformed into an enhanced parts and service center. The parts and service center is expected to upgrade Forest River’s operations.
Forest River’s WARN notice said the company will lay off 83 workers. According to the Economic Development Corporation of Elkhart County, Forest River employs about 10,000 workers.
