Forest River Inc.’s XLR toy hauler division is partnering with Truck System Technologies for an exclusive one-time retail promotion valid only during the 2020 Florida RV Supershow Jan. 15-19 in Tampa, Florida. Any new 2020 XLR Hyperlite, Nitro or Thunderbolt series purchase at the Florida RV Show will receive a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) installed free of charge.
“XLR is excited to be partnering with Truck System Technologies (TST) for Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems during this special event at no additional cost to the consumer,” said Brent Stevens, general manager for Forest River XLR. “TST, with their parent company P.S.I., are the world leaders for automatic tire inflation systems (ATIS) and TMPS in the commercial trucking industry. We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring their expertise in this field over to us here at XLR. We wanted to offer something special and valuable to coincide with our return to the Tampa show this year after a couple year hiatus.”
TST’s TPMS technology promotes a new level of safety, TST President Bear Musgrave said. “Our goal is to protect consumers from the dangers relating to a low tire,” he said. “By alerting consumers to real-time temperature and pressure measurements on a widescreen color display, this easy-to-read screen provides warnings on your TST digital display as audio, visual and textual alerts. With this tire monitoring protection, customers should have ample time to pull to a safe location.”
In addition to RVs, TST systems are expandable and can monitor up to four trailers (boat, agricultural, utility, cargo etc.) or “toys” (side by sides, motorcycles, etc.) and 115 tires, including spares.
