Texas-based Fun Town RV announced its first expansion into Illinois.
Fun Town RV announced it was buying Tri-State RV in Anna, Illinois. The dealership is among the top-selling RV dealers in Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky.
Tri-State RV is equipped as a full-service dealer with RV sales, service and parts. Tri-State will be transitioning to fall under the Fun Town RV brand.
Jarrod McGhee, Fun Town founder and CEO, said the Anna location will add Illinois to previous expansion into Texas and Oklahoma.
“It has been a great year,” McGhee said. “We have some exciting things happening now and in the future, and there are all sorts of room for advancement and opportunities within Fun Town RV, all because of our new growth.”
Fun Town stated this location will be among several new stores scheduled to open within the next year. The company currently operates 14 locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Indiana. Fun Town plans to open as many as 15 more in the next two to three years.
Matt Walker, Fun Town regional vice president, said he is excited to oversee the northern regional market for the business.
“The new location gives us the perfect spot to help grow Fun Town RV’s market share,” Walker said.
