Furrion, a global leader of products and solutions for the specialty vehicle, consumer, hospitality and marine markets, has received two additional U.S. patents for its kitchen appliances.
The intellectual property includes Utility Patent No 10,527,292 (‘292 Patent) and a new Design Patent No. D872,516 (‘516 Patent). The patents, granted on January 7 and 21, 2020, respectively, along with previously granted patents strengthen Furrion’s intellectual property and design of its RV Range Oven.
“These latest patents are a big win for Furrion,” Furrion Co-founder and CEO Aaron Fidler said. “We believe our utility patent is particularly strong because it protects the flush-mount fitment and function of the product. These patents, combined with the design patents previously awarded, will make it easier for Furrion to enforce action against any infringing products. We recognize the need to protect our intellectual property for our customers, and we are prepared to vigorously enforce these patents to the fullest extent of the law”.
Furrion received nearly 30 patents worldwide in the past year. Additionally, the company has more than 80 patent applications pending.
