GE Appliances (GEA), a Haier company, will introduce the GE Profile RV Ready Range and Electric Cooler product lines at the RV Hall of Fame Supplier Show next week in Elkhart, Indiana.
The ranges and coolers were designed and engineered at the company’s global headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.
“As relative newcomers to this RV category, it is imperative that we provide quality, value and new advances in every product we make, just as we have during our long history of making products for (consumers’) home(s),” said Attila Krizsan, GE Appliances senior director of recreational living.
Consumers were not the only stakeholders the company considered when developing the products, Krizsan said.
“These products are thoughtfully constructed and tested specifically for this segment to ensure easy installation on a production line or in the service bays,” Krizan said. “We listened to our buyers and made adjustments to ensure we are adding value both to the RV owner and the installation teams.”
12-Volt LP Ranges
GE Profile’s RV Ready range lineup offers 17- and 21-inch drop-in configurations as well as a 12-volt, 24-inch free-standing unit.
The GE Appliances engineering team created products that deliver even cooking performance without adding to cook times, the company said, or necessitating the use of a pizza stone RV-hack.
The new ranges were designed with cast metal, backlit knobs and edge-to-edge grates.
Electric Coolers
The GE Profile electric coolers are available in 50-liter single zone or 75-liter dual zone capacities to give owners fresh or frozen options while on the go. The coolers can be powered with a standard outlet or a 12-volt DC hookup to connect to RVs, cars, or portable batteries. An accessory wheel kit makes the coolers portable.
