General RV Center is building a new retail store in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. The dealership expects to open in July 2022.
The Elizabethtown center will feature 34 service bays and a retail parts and accessories store.
RV service demand is high, General RV said, and the new facility will have more service capacity than any other RV dealer in the state to help address this need.
“General RV has a long history of providing first-class experiences for customers at our 14 dealerships nationwide,” said Loren Baidas, president of General RV. “We are excited to expand our operations in Pennsylvania to better serve campers across the northeast.”
The new center is located between Lancaster, York and Harrisburg. The dealership will serve the local RVing community and those from neighboring states, Baidas said.
General RV experienced historical growth due to increased interest in RVing, Baidas said.
“Our focus now is on hiring employees who can help us deliver first-class experiences for our customers and help a new generation of campers make RVing memories,” he said.
General RV expects to add 50 new jobs to the area.
The company will host hiring events from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 7 and June 8 at the new location. Recruiters will answer questions from applicants and conduct onsite interviews on both days.
Openings are available in all departments. RV industry experience is helpful but not needed; many entry-level roles are available and paid training will be provided.
