In Rowan County, North Carolina, an area has been cleared and steel framework has been set for a 71,000-square-foot RV dealership facility.
A construction crew is crafting the General RV Supercenter in Salisbury, North Carolina. The crew will next enclose the facility and lay concrete paving, sidewalks and curbs.
The dealership will house over 40 service bays, a six-bay body shop and 700 RVs. General RV anticipates the dealership’s debut in Rowan County this fall.
General RV CEO Loren Baidas said, “It took us years to find the perfect spot, the ideal community to call our home in North Carolina.”
Now, the dealer is constructing itself into the community.
Once open, the location will provide more than 150 full-time jobs with an average salary of $65,000. When construction is complete, the dealer will have invested $25 million into the community. General RV anticipates generating around $740,000 of annual visitor spending in the area.
“As construction continues, we look forward to opening our doors and sharing our love for RVing with this region,” Baidas said, “offering top-notch service and accessibility for both new and existing customers to make RV memories for themselves and their families.”
