Genesis Products has unveiled designer acoustic wall tiles. The wall tiles follow the supplier’s acoustic ceiling tile introduction.
The tiles, available under the Qwel Designer brand, are made from sustainable PET to naturally manage sound.
Qwel wall tiles are available in various shapes, sizes and colors. Their peel-and-stick design eases installation.
Vice President of Marketing and Development Erin Curtis said, “We believe every environment deserves to be elevated. We launched Qwel designer acoustic tiles to make architectural PET solutions more attainable. Launching our wall tiles gives our customers even more opportunities to transform their vertical surfaces with designs that are visually stimulating and provide acoustical benefits.”
Wall tiles are available in rectangle, square and hexagon shapes in sizes ranging from 4 inches to 24 inches. The wall tiles can mix and match to create unique designs. The designer collection colors match the ceiling tiles’ neutrals in white, black, greys and browns.
Cory Marvel, business development manager for Qwel, said, “We decided to debut our Vibrant Earth collection to introduce pops of color that can truly transform Qwel tile configurations into wall art. Chili Red, Avocado Green, Dandelion Yellow and Ocean Blue expand our palette to give designers more options.”
The tiles have no chemical after-treatments and are 100% recyclable. The washable tiles are dust and shakeout-free, stain-, mold- and mildew-resistant and feature a Class A rating for fire and smoke.
Installation requires tools such as a measuring tape, utility knife, straight edge, level, pencil and a roller for applying pressure. The peel-and-stick adhesive works on any clean, dry substrate.
