Go RVing’s latest trend identified to help the industry is livestreaming. Livestreaming is when video is sent online without first being recorded and stored.

By livestreaming on social media, Go RVing said, RV industry members may forge stronger connections with their audiences, showcase the RV lifestyle, educate potential buyers and drive sales and brand loyalty.

Go RVing highlighted four ways the RV industry can use livestreaming to engage with audiences.

One method is through product showcases and virtual tours. The livestreams can feature new model reveals, in-depth RV walkthroughs and behind-the-scenes facility tours. The tours and showcases can offer viewers an up-close look at the latest RVs and parts/accessories.

Another approach involves educational content and Q&A sessions. The sessions may include “ask the expert” live segments with RVTI-certified technicians, hands-on how-to workshops and informative trip-planning sessions led by experienced RVers. Go RVing said the educational content enables viewers to build knowledge and confidence in their RV lifestyle.

Livestreaming is also used to foster community among RV enthusiasts. Industry members can egage with the RV community through live Q&A sessions featuring popular RV influencers. Virtual RV rallies and real-time interviews with current RV owners can also create a shared space for conversation and connection. Go RVing said live polls and interactive quizzes enhance viewer participation.

Lastly, the RV industry can leverage livestreaming for marketing and promotional efforts. The efforts include live sales events, product launch broadcasts and interactive contests or giveaways.
