Go RVing is highlighting the frustrations of traditional vacationing with its new video campaign, “Don’t Go There!”
The initiative, which originally began as a radio campaign, is aimed at showcasing the stress of air travel and hotel stays while promoting RVing as a more enjoyable, flexible alternative.
The campaign features two 30-second ads, “Airplane Problems” and “Hotel Hassle,” each depicting relatable travel mishaps such as flight delays and hotel inconveniences. These scenarios emphasize the unpredictability and frustrations often associated with conventional travel, urging viewers to consider RVing as a more stress-free option.
By focusing on these common travel headaches, Go RVing said it hopes to connect with individuals who have faced the challenges of traditional vacations and inspire them to explore RVing as a better alternative. The campaign is part of Go RVing’s broader mission to attract new audiences, raise awareness about the benefits of RV life and make RVing more accessible.
The “Don’t Go There!” campaign is currently being broadcast nationwide through digital channels, with plans to run through early spring. It was recently featured in Reel Chicago’s Reel Ad of the Week, further raising awareness and continuing to promote RV travel to potential adventurers.
