The Go RVing Tik Tok channel, started in 2021, surpassed 40,000 followers this month. The channel has collected 98,000 likes.
For those unfamiliar with Tik Tok, it is a popular app where users create and share short videos. According to influencemarketinghub, Tik Tok users grew from 65 million in 2018 to a billion per month this year and Tik Tok was the second most popular app downloaded in the U.S. last year.
Go RVing pays to promote content on Tik Tok. The content and the ads are shown only to the organization’s targeted demographic—21 to 65-year-olds, Go RVing said. According to Go RVing, Tik Tok has evolved into the second leading paid social media driver for the organization’s website.
Tik Tok Analytics show Go RVing followers are U.S.-based, 50% male and 50% female.
Among the Tik Tok videos available on the channel are RV tours by the organization’s influencers Mike Caudill and Janine Pettit. The Braga family offers consumers video tips for traveling with special needs family members and pets.
