The National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls:
CARSON TRAILER, INC.
Gas leak can increase fire risk.
A saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.
Possible Number of Units Affected: 3
Carson Trailer, Inc. is recalling certain 2018-2020 Fun Runner FC20 trailers equipped with Dometic 3-burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, causing a continuous gas leak and increasing the fire risk. Carson will work with Dometic, and dealers will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts and two round orange labels, free of charge. DAIMLER VANS USA, LLC
Unintentional vehicle movement can increase crash risk.
A software error in the park lock system may allow the vehicle to move after the gear selector has been placed in the park position without the parking brake applied.
Possible Number of Units Affected: 48,400
Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles. A software error in the park lock system may allow the vehicle to move after the gear selector has been placed in the Park “P” position without the parking brake applied. Dealers will update the electronic stability program control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Jan. 31, 2022. TOURIG
Damaged components may overheat and increase fire risk.
Excessive voltage in the Multiplex G9 unit may cause components on the board to become damaged.
Possible Number of Units Affected: 1
Tourig is recalling one 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle, equipped with a Multiplex G9 unit used for controlling equipment and accessories in the motorhome. Excessive voltage may cause the components on the board to become damaged. Dealers will install an additional circuit module to the existing component board, free of charge.
