FOREST RIVER, INC.
Incorrectly Wired Trailer Brake Controller
An incorrectly wired brake controller can result in a loss of brake function, increasing the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 63
Forest River is recalling certain 2022-2023 Rockport work trucks. The trailer brake controller may have been incorrectly wired.
Dealers will rewire the trailer brake controller, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 21, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-327-2392. Forest River’s number for this recall is 29-1639.
FORETRAVEL, INC.
Software Error in Vehicle Control Module
The loss of drive power, headlights, or windshield wipers can increase the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 67
Foretravel is recalling certain 2022-2024 Realm, Realm Presidential, and FS450 motorhomes. The vehicle control module may have a software error, which can cause a loss of drive power or disable other safety systems, such as the headlights or windshield wipers.
Dealers will reprogram the vehicle control module, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 29, 2023. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.
REV RECREATION GROUP
Tow Hitch May Separate
A tow vehicle that separates from the motorhome can become a road hazard, increasing the crash risk.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,186
Rev Group is recalling certain 2020-2024 Fleetwood Bounder, Holiday Rambler Vacationer and 2020-2023 Fleetwood Southwind motorhomes. The tow hitch may become damaged due to stress or vehicle overloading, which can cause the tow vehicle to separate from the motorhome.
Dealers will inspect and replace the hitch, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 15, 2023. Owners may contact Rev customer service at 1-800-509-3417. Rev’s number for this recall is 230516REV.
