FOREST RIVER, INC.

Freshwater Tank May Detach

A detached tank can become a road hazard, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 2,204

Forest River is recalling certain 2020-2023 Coachmen Independence Trail, 2020-2024 Viking and 2021-2024 Clipper travel trailers. The freshwater tank may detach from the vehicle when full or overfilled.

Incorrectly Installed Furnace May Cause Fire

Overheated vinyl linoleum flooring increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 13

Forest River is recalling certain 2024 Aurora and Catalina travel trailers. The furnace may have been installed directly on top of the vinyl linoleum floor, which can cause the floor to overheat.

Dealers will install a panel between the furnace and the linoleum, free of charge. All affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory; therefore, no owner notification letters will be mailed. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-825-4995. Forest River’s number for this recall is 205-1778.

Improperly Secured Gas Line May Cause Fire

A propane gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 318

Forest River is recalling certain 2024 Solera, 2024-2025 Forester and Sunseeker motorhomes. The liquid propane (LP) line may not be properly secured, which can cause the line to become damaged and leak.

Dealers will install a p-clamp to secure the LP line, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 26. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-206-7600. Forest River’s number for this recall is 34-1780.

Dealers will replace the bedroom window with an egress window, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 12. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 256-356-8661. Tiffin’s number for this recall is TIF-139.
