The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls:

EVELAND’S, INC.

Damaged Cooktop Control Valves May Leak Gas

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 9

Eveland’s Inc. is recalling certain 2022 Scamp travel trailers, equipped with certain two-burner cooktops. The burner control valves may become damaged, causing a gas leak.

Eveland’s will work with Dometic to replace the cooktops, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

ROADTREK, INC.

Propane Leak Can Cause a Fire.

A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 785

Roadtrek Inc. is recalling certain 2021-2022 Zion, Zion SRT, Zion Slumber, Chase, Play, Play SRT and Play Slumber motorhomes. The output line on the LPG tanks may not connect properly to the shut-off valve, which can cause a propane leak.

Dealers will inspect and replace the service valves, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in July 2022.

TIFFIN MOTORHOMES, INC.

Propane Leak Can Cause a Fire

A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,323

Tiffin is recalling certain 2021-2023 Allegro, Red 340, 2021-2022 Phaeton, Breeze, Allegro Red 360 and 2022 Bay motorhomes. The output line on the LPG tanks may not connect properly to the service valve, which can cause a propane leak.

Dealers will inspect and replace the service valves, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 16, 2022.

WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES, INC.

Step Well Cover May Collapse

An insufficient support underneath the step well cover can allow the step to collapse when stepped on, increasing the injury risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 33

Winnebago Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2021-2022 Inspire motorhomes. The support underneath the step well cover may be insufficient.

Dealers will increase the support surface to 1.5 inches, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Aug. 31, 2022.
