The Biden-Harris Administration launched a new website providing outdoor public information and resources.
The Department of the Interior, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Commerce’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the White House Council on Environmental Quality collaborated to create the new website: Conservation.gov.
Outdoor Recreation Roundtable President Jessica Wahl Turner said, “These comprehensive resources serve as a much-needed hub for expanding equitable access to the outdoors and tracking local and national efforts to conserve our cherished lands, waters and wildlife.”
Outdoor enthusiasts can find outdoor recreation locations and public land volunteer opportunities. The site provides conservation effort updates and conservation project financial assistance applications.
Another feature includes a tool called the American Conservation and Stewardship Atlas. The resource provides various information and data about science, biodiversity, climate change and equity.
