Hall of Fame Provides Construction Update

Construction equipment work on the site of the new convention center at the RV/MH Hall of Fame.

The RV/MH Hall of Fame has raised half the $3 million it is collecting to pay for a new 36,000-square-foot convention hall.

Phase one building construction is underway, the hall said. Phase one includes erection of the building, completing the exterior and installing lighting and plumbing.

Funding is available to complete phase one, the Hall of Fame said, while the remaining $1.5 million needed will be allocated to phase two. Phase two will complete the interior, which will include a state-of-the-art sound system and acoustics, advanced lighting control, a large permanent stage, convention strength Wi-Fi, breakout rooms and finished flooring.

“If you are looking for a way to give back to the industry,” the hall said, “or if you are interested in helping the future development of the Greater Elkhart Community, please consider donating to this project.”
