Heartland is celebrating two decades of its Bighorn fifth wheels at Elkhart Extravaganza. The manufacturer will debut the Bighorn double suite 392DS and the 391MFB front bath floorplan at the show.

The new Bighorn line will include four floorplans this year, with a fifth expected in 2025.

Heartland Director of Sales Tim Markel said, “After taking a brief break from production, we took the opportunity to completely redefine the Bighorn brand. Our focus was on elevating both quality and design, ensuring that each floorplan serves a wide range of lifestyles, seasons and camping preferences.”

The 2025 models feature a 35,000 BTU furnace, a 5,000 BTU fireplace and an advanced air conditioning system. A 380-watt solar package includes two 190-watt solar panels, a 30-amp charge controller and a 2,000-watt inverter. A tankless water heater provides 144 gallons of hot water per hour.

The chassis includes Goodyear endurance tires, a tire-pressure monitoring system, 7,000-pound axles, a rubberized suspension system and an upgraded Helux coil spring pin box. The RV also includes Lippert’s Titan six-point hydraulic leveling system.

The fifth wheels include a tinted black glass entry door and tinted frameless windows. The front cap includes an LED light bar and underframe lighting.

The towables flush-floor slide outs tower 76 inches high. Dimmable LED strip lighting illuminates the cabin. The entertainment center includes a 55-inch smart TV and ceiling-mounted Bluetooth speakers. The living area features a bar, desk and dinette combo.

The kitchen includes a 16-cubic-foot, 12-volt refrigerator and a pantry. The oversized copper sink features a residential pullout faucet. A pull-out trash can and hidden, under-mounted cutlery storage are included.

The upper deck staircase includes a lighted grab-handle and provides shoe storage under the steps. The bedroom features a king-sized bed, wardrobe, washer/dryer prep and a smart TV. The smart bed base includes CPAP machine storage with 110-volt outlets.

The bathroom features a residential mirror, sconce lighting, a porcelain toilet and solid-surface countertops. Sliding glass doors unveil a fiberglass shower that features a residential showerhead.

Markel said, “We have come back stronger than ever, and we are confident that Bighorn will continue to meet the needs of adventurers everywhere.”
