Good weather over a five-day period helped keep attendance steady through the 53rd annual Hershey America’s Largest RV Show.
Early unaudited figures showed about 50,000 attendees through the five days, down from 2021’s 61,320, the second-largest figure in show history.
Saturday’s attendance was the show’s highest at nearly 15,000.
Inventory availability reportedly was much greater than 2021, with numerous RVs available for immediate pickup. Entries for a Flagstaff tent camper giveaway, restored at the show for the first time in three years, were brisk.
Among the signs attendance was down were reports that the overflow parking lot, which was full last year, was nearly empty throughout the show. Others noted long waits Saturday to find parking as attendance swelled to its highest levels of the week.
