The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA) said last week’s America’s Largest RV Show registered its second-largest attendance in its more than 50-year history.
PRVCA said 61,320 attended the five-day event at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The attendance record was set in 2017 at 64,154.
“We are ecstatic that so many people came out to see the RVs, vendors with great products and services, and attend the informational seminars,” said Heather Leach, PRVCA executive director. “It is great to see so many people interested in camping and RVing and we are thrilled to have a part in educating them about the products available and provide tips for them as they plan their RVing adventures.”
More than 30 manufacturers exhibited more than 1,200 RVs. Dealer and manufacturer representatives were on hand to answer consumers’ questions and secure orders.
The show featured more than 150 vendors and provided seminars to help consumers learn about buying an RV, maintenance, safety, where to travel, and ideas to upgrade your RV.
Among the presenters were husband and wife duo David “Hutch” Hutchison and Shari Galiardi, known as Freedom in a Can; Cortni Armstrong, The Flipping Nomad; Mike Sokol from RV Electricity and Randy Sobel leading sessions on buying tips.
Show sponsors included American Coach, Campspot, Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, Progressive, Thor Industries, General RV Center, Jayco, Nomad Internet, Thetford/Norcold, Camping Tools, Escapees RV Club and Lance, Carefree Coach Rentals & Service, Northern Lite and Wilkins RV.
