This year, Veurink’s RV Center in Michigan marks its 60th year as a Holiday Rambler dealer. Holiday Rambler said Veurink’s is the manufacturer’s oldest and longest-standing continuous dealer.
The dealership’s founder, Howard Veurink, traveled to Wakaruse, Indiana, in 1963 to meet with Holiday Rambler’s founder. Veurink came away impressed with the motorhome, the dealership said, and returned to Grand Rapids, Michigan, with the RV. He sold the motorhome the same day.
Holiday Rambler representatives were on hand to celebrate with the Veurink family, including Matthew Veurink, Howard’s grandson and current store general manager. Veurink’s RV was presented with a plaque commemorating their 60 years together.
“We truly value and appreciate Veurink’s commitment to Holiday Rambler for an incredible 60 years,” said Doug Miller, Holiday Rambler product manager. “Most importantly, our partnership is as strong as ever. We look forward to working together with the Veurink’s family for many more years to come.”
Founded in 1954, Veurink’s RV Center operates its original location in Grand Rapids and a second one in Newaygo, Michigan.
“Our thanks to the Holiday Rambler family for their continued partnership – and for joining us to celebrate this milestone,” Matthew Veurink said. “For 60 years, the Holiday Rambler brand has been an important part of our success, and it has embodied so many of our core values, including integrity, excellence, customer delight and fun. We are excited about this partnership continuing well into the future.”
