Holiday Rambler created a four-video series to take viewers behind the scenes and on the factory floor at its manufacturing headquarters in Decatur, Indiana.
The live-action tours are led by Holiday Rambler training manager Mike Grove, who shares several steps involved in manufacturing and assembling a luxury Type A motorhome.
The videos deliver details and information about the foundational elements on which each Holiday Rambler is built; the technology that goes into creating and installing the walls and flooring; the cabinet shop where raw pieces of pine are fashioned into cabinetry; and the painting process that requires numerous base coats and layers of paint to create the graphics on each motorhome.
The factory tour videos can be viewed by visiting HolidayRambler.com, selecting the About tab, clicking on Factory Tours, and providing an email address.
One of Holiday Rambler’s most popular models is Nautica, a Type A diesel motorhome that is less than 40 feet long and built on a Freightliner Custom Chassis. While the Nautica from Holiday Rambler is shorter in length, it boasts a roomy interior with ample storage. Amenities include an electric fireplace, stainless steel appliances, pantry storage, a master bedroom suite with a skylight shower and an exterior entertainment center with a 50-inch LED TV.
