Lippert’s philanthropy poured into communities as team members contributed their time and passion to charitable causes.
During National Volunteer Week April 21-27, Lippert participated locally, nationally and internationally. The company said the volunteerism furthered its “commitment to using business as a force for good in the world.”
The supplier held a local event in Elkhart, Indiana. The Volunteer Week Pack-Out lasted three days at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds. Over 1,200 Lippert team members packed boxes with food items and school supplies. Volunteers packed 144,000 items and distributed them to 10 schools in the Elkhart, St. Joseph and Allen Counties.
Lippert Director of Corporate and Community Impact Michilah Grimes said, “I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering dedication and boundless generosity of Lippert team members.”
According to Grimes, Lippert’s volunteer work has saved nonprofits $27 million since 2017.
In addition to the Elkhart event, Lippert team members volunteered at a “Rail-Trail” clean-up in Gloversville, New York; Rowans Hospice in Havant, United Kingdom and park clean-ups in Twin Falls, Idaho and Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
The company said Volunteer Week participation is one piece of Lippert’s overall philanthropy mission.
