Gov. Eric Holcomb held another weekly virtual news conference on Wednesday to provide an update on the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
More than 3,300 Hoosiers have died of COVID-19, according to the Indiana State Department of Health. The health department reported 728 new cases and 10 new deaths on Wednesday.
The state continues to update a map that assigns a color to each county based on how much spread is happening there. As of Wednesday, two counties — Gibson and Monroe — had moderate to high spread, putting them into the orange category. All of the other counties are in blue or yellow, which indicate less virus spread.
