Blue paint smears across a surface with each stroke of a brush. Each time the bristles meet the surface, the blue tint covers more area, becoming further solidified in the desired hue.
Similar to the paint mixtures and equipment it distributes, Industrial Finishes & Systems is covering more area with its latest expansion.
The supplier entered new territory, establishing a Florida location. Florida is the 12th state with an Industrial Finishes distribution center.
The supplier’s newest distribution center is at 3577 Tyrone Blvd. N., St. Petersburg, Florida. The company said the new building will further its mission to provide customers with faster access to quality products, tools and support.
Industrial Finishes & Systems President Glenn Duckworth said the Florida location “significantly strengthens our service capabilities for existing customers in the region and expands our reach to new customers in the Southeast.”
Other centers are located in California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Virginia and Washington.
To fortify its presence, the supplier hired employees at its St. Petersburg location. New members include Account Manager Jeff Gordon, Product Manager Russell Smith and Branch Manager Grant Sukloff.
Pat Parker, Industrial Finishes general manager of Specialty Vehicle and Automotive East, said, “By bringing on board individuals with decades of experience and extensive market knowledge, we are even better positioned to serve.”
