Two Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS) leaders will lead fixed-operations sessions at the RVDA Convention/Expo at Paris Las Vegas, running Nov. 11-15.
IDS Senior Consultant Don Miller will host “Pulse Check: Current Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT) Trends and What’s Driving Them,” at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 14.
The session will help dealers assess their service performance compared with the industry. Miller will teach attendees how to improve service department efficiency and profitability.
Learning objectives include:
- Discovering industry RECT trends, including which brands are performing the best and in which specific areas.
- Learning service metrics dealers should track, including RECT, and how to use this data to compare performance with other dealerships.
- Determining dealership segments to look more closely at, so dealers can improve processes and allocate resources to create the most impact.
At 3:15 p.m. Nov. 14, IDS Sales Engineer Allison Miller will present “Elevate Your Fixed Ops Customer Experience with Automation.”
With interest rates and market conditions’ effect on RV sales and profit margins, many dealers are emphasizing fixed-operations profits. According to IDS, customer service needs to be more frequent, helpful and personalized to ensure successful fixed operations.
Learning objectives include:
- Providing proactive communication with consumers through automated text messaging, follow-ups and reminders.
- Improving cross-departmental collaboration and communication to elevate the consumer experience.
- Identifying communication gaps in fixed operations departments.
