Intellitec Products unveiled a new line of 250-amp battery disconnects. The lineup includes the Heavy Duty 250-amp Battery Disconnect, the Heavy Duty Battery Guard automatic battery disconnect and models with current sensing and RV-C communications.

Intellitec Products President Ned Schiff said, “The Heavy Duty Battery Guard provides the most complete solution to keeping your batteries operable and healthy.”

The battery guard protects batteries from potential damage by disconnecting the battery load from the device before it becomes too discharged. The device accommodates 12-volt electrical systems.

Intellitec Vice President of Sales and Marketing Craig Floyd said the Heavy Duty Battery Guard is built on the Battery Guard platform. The device is compatible with RV-C communications, enabling voltage level, battery health and other data collection.

Floyd said, “Its compact size and functionality give the users extra protection from dead batteries.”

According to Schiff, the disconnects can manage increased electrical loads on RVs. The products include simple and automatic disconnects, which sense when battery voltage levels are low. The disconnects can be mounted next to batteries and controlled remotely.
