RV dealers appear to be increasingly positive, both on current industry conditions and on the next 3-5 years, according to the most recent Baird RV Dealer Sentiment Index.
The index, published jointly with RVDA, is an outgrowth of Baird’s monthly retail dealer survey conducted for RVDA members. The research details current and future industry conditions by month, with a score of over 50 indicating positive outlooks.
The index scored RV dealers as having positive outlooks for both current and future industry conditions. Looking to the next three to five years, RV dealers were found to have an index of 59 out of 100 during January. This is the same outlook reported in December 2021.
Looking to current conditions, RV dealers were found to be slightly more positive compared to the future. Dealer sentiment registered a 64 out of 100, the same level about current conditions as in December.
