Kampgrounds of America Receives Multiple Accolades

Loyalty360 honored Kampgrounds of America (KOA) with two 2024 Loyalty360 Awards. The customer loyalty association revealed the accolades at its Loyalty Expo in Orlando, Florida, June 6.

The awards recognize companies building stronger and deeper loyalty with their customers in a proactive, meaningful and measurable way.

KOA received a gold award in the Corporate Responsibility and Loyalty category. The award honored KOA’s Get Out There Bag program initiated last year. The KOA Foundation created and distributed nearly 1,000 bags to urban youth and their adult chaperones. The bags were used for outdoor activities. KOA’s mission was to remove barriers and encourage safe outdoor exploration in youth.

KOA Senior Vice President of Marketing Diane Eichler said, “This program reflects KOA’s core values, allowing us to foster a love of nature among youth who might not otherwise have these opportunities.”

The company earned silver in the Brand-to-Brand Partnerships category for its KOA Rewards program. KOA refined the program last year by simplifying the point-earning and redemption process. Account holders use points and discounts when booking through the KOA website or app. The organization provided deals and partnerships with companies including BMW Motorcycle Club, Jayco and Winnebago.

“We have always valued our partners,” Eichler said, “and will continue leveraging our deep understanding of our campers to bridge new relationships with key partners moving forward.”
