Longtime Keystone RV Co. manager, Dustin Tavernier, is the new product manager for the company’s Alpine, Avalanche and Laredo lines.
“Keystone is committed to dominating the luxury fifth wheel category. We expect that Alpine, Avalanche and Laredo will play increasingly significant roles in our portfolio, and we wanted a leader with proven chops and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” Keystone RV Co., Vice President of Sales Josh Miller said. “Putting Dustin in this position was the easiest choice I’ve ever made.”
For the past three years, Tavernier was Bullet product manager where he tripled the brand’s production volume. He created the luxury lightweight category for Keystone RV Co. with the introduction of Bullet Premier, featuring the company’s first arched-rafter design. A number of other Keystone RV Co. products now use this design as well.
In 2011, Tavernier became product manager for Keystone’s Springdale and Residence brands. He introduced the brand’s first laminated fifth wheel, first 8-foot wide single-axle model, and most recently, the Springdale Rugged Terrain. The Terrain off-road, off-grid travel trailer design capitalizes on an emerging category of first-time buyers.
“I’m excited for this new challenge,” Tavernier said. “I’m fortunate because over the last sixteen years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a broad dealer base. Those relationships have proven to be critically important as we have evolved and grown each product line, and I’m sure they will be in my new role as well.”
