Keystone RV is responding to what the company stated is a consumer interest spike in full-body paint by adding more colorways and designs to two Keystone brands.
The manufacturer stated in addition to an “unprecedented demand” for the company’s fifth wheels, more buyers are upgrading their units. Consumers are opting for full-body paint twice as much compared with the past, Keystone stated.
The company’s Montana and Raptor brands will see additional contemporary paint colors. Montana’s new “Shadow” palette combines bright white with shades of taupe and gray, creating a lighter paint scheme than previously offered.
“Montana uses consumer feedback to drive product development and this is a result of a consumer ask,” Keystone RV General Manager Colin Dechant said. “Our new Shadow paint option reflects buyers’ desire for lighter and brighter design in both their coach’s interior and now, the exterior. In some ways, it is also an extension of the positive response we have seen to the lighter Modern Maple and Cottage White decors that were introduced in 2020.”
Keystone’s Raptor brand is responding to consumer interest in paint colors and bolder graphics within the toy hauler segment, the company stated.
“For toy hauler owners, the exterior of their RV is an expression of their adventurous approach to life,” , Keystone Raptor Product Manager Colin Clark said. “Paint is the ultimate extension of the opportunity for self-expression. Raptor’s new Charcoal and Electric Blue paint options crank up the excitement by incorporating elements from motorsports design that feel consistent with our owners’ full-throttle lifestyles.”
Full-body paint is an option for Keystone’s Montana, Raptor, Fuzion and Alpine brands. The Thor Industries division has a paint facility in Wakarusa, Indiana.
