Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) partnered with Cathy Reinard through her own business to lead the KOA Resale Program.
KOA stated Reinard, owner of Taylor Made for Your Towne and a former KOA franchisee in New York and Florida, brings thorough knowledge of campgrounds, the KOA system and the intricacies of campground sales.
Reinard will assist franchisees in evaluating campground sales and work with campground owners to determine their campground’s value.
Darin Uselman, KOA franchise chief operations officer, said interest is growing in camping, as are expectations for campgrounds.
“We know that providing a program to owners looking to sell their campground and execute their exit strategy is a great service to our franchisees,” Uselman said. “We are thrilled to have Cathy back as part of the KOA family.”
Reinard is a licensed real estate agent with a history of selling parks. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, a current KOA brokerage partner, will continue to provide ongoing support to the KOA Resale Program, its current and in process listings, and international support for Canadian campground sales.
Reinhard’s addition to the team enables John Burke, vice president of franchise finance, to work with franchisees on strategic planning, including succession planning, ROI analysis and 20 Group oversight and growth. Burke will continue to provide campground valuations.
