Kampgrounds of America (KOA) ranked first in its category in Entrepreneur’s 45th annual 2024 Franchise 500 list.
Placement on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list reflects a company’s performance in areas such as growth, financial strength and brand power.

According to KOA’s Marketing Effectiveness Survey, 62% of the camping market is aware of the KOA brand. KOA’s franchisees reported a 95% renewal rate in 2023.
The company expanded in 2023. KOA obtained 12 conversion properties and initiated seven new build contracts.
