Kampgrounds of America Inc.’s Kim Wootteon has been promoted to senior director of Owned and Operated Assets of KOA (OAK) marketing and revenue management.
Wootteon was previously OAK’s marketing director. In addition to defining OAK marketing strategy across more than 40 campground locations, Wootteon will oversee revenue management to create a holistic connection.
Whitney Scott, KOA chief marketing officer, said Wootteon is an exemplary leader in OAK.
“She has built critical processes, collaborating with teams and departments,” Scott said, “that have improved our work and positively impacted our bottom line. Wootteon will only provide greater value to our work and organization in her new role.”
Prior to her work at KOA, Wootteon worked in revenue management and marketing within the campground and hotel industries of Blue Water Development Corp and The Grand Hotel and Spa.
Wootteon said she is honored to lead and develop OAK revenue management.
“Taking a holistic approach to the customer buying experience, using analytics from both a marketing and revenue perspective to predict consumer behavior, allows us to better serve our campers,” Wootteon said.
OAK plans to expand Wootteon’s revenue management team in 2022.
