KPA, a compliance software and solutions provider, is implementing security measures with its recent partnership with Botdoc, an end-to-end encrypted communication company.
The collaboration includes two Botdoc integrations into KPA’s platform: Botdoc Lite and Botdoc Connect. Botdoc Lite enables dealers to send or collect consumer documents securely without passwords or logins. Dealers can send consumers a secure link to collect information through email, text or social media applications.
KPA President and CEO Chris Fanning said, “KPA is dedicated to workplace and workforce compliance, including safeguarding customer and employee information, which is why we have partnered with Botdoc to offer a secure information exchange to our automotive clients.”
Botdoc Connect is an extension of Botdoc Lite. The feature auto-populates consumer information from a customer relations management program, eliminating manual data entry. Consumer documents can be automatically appended to a consumer’s profile to streamline the process.
The Botdoc integrations are available to dealers impacted by recent cyberattacks. Affected dealers are eligible for three free months of Botdoc Lite.
Botdoc CEO Karl Falk said, “This event is a stark reminder of not only the significant dangers associated with cyber risk but also one that illustrates how dealerships often have vulnerabilities in their business’ continuity plans aside from potential fines and cyber risks.”
