KPA, a compliance solutions provider, announced a Privacy and Safeguard solution to protect consumer information and privacy. The product will enable RV dealers and vendors to meet the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Safeguards Rule standards.
KPA President and CEO Chris Fanning said, “KPA’s robust Privacy and Safeguards solution is the only guided compliance product that helps keep a dealer and their vendors compliant with federal regulations, minimizes the risk of a data breach and ultimately saves them time.”
The 10-step, self-guided solution will implement protocols and protections for dealers to keep business and consumer information secure. The compliance product includes written programs, reports and response plans. The solution implements vendor training management, cybersecurity penetration testing and continuous monitoring.
Dealers can add a website consent banner enabling consumers to opt in on information they would like to share with the dealership. The banner establishes consumer consent compliance with information shared on the search engine.
KPA consulted 140 compliance experts to provide solutions for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS); Advertising, Sales and Finance (ASF) and Human Resources related (HR) rules and laws.
“As the federal and state governments continue to make regulatory changes that impact dealers,” Fanning said, “KPA’s complete compliance bundles software, training and consulting into one solution that spans HR; Advertising, Sales and Finance and EHS, giving dealers peace of mind knowing they are compliant and can focus on their primary business objectives.”
