Kunes Auto & RV Group kicked off its first week of compliance training with Mosaic Compliance Services. More than 1,000 management executives, sales professionals and customer service representatives will participate in the training before new FTC Safeguards Rule amendments take effect June 9.
The amendments increase requirements for non-banking financial institutions, including dealerships, to protect sensitive customer data and maintain a comprehensive security program.
“As a customer-first dealership, we have been enhancing our practices and systems for some time now to meet these new requirements and ensure consumers are protected with us,” Kunes Auto & RV Chief Operating Officer Scott Kunes said, “We partnered with Mosaic to make sure our dealerships and sales staff are thoroughly prepared to implement the assessments, policies and procedure templates, training and mandatory services needed to adhere with the updated rules.”
Mosaic Compliance Services provides a compliance management system that includes eCompliance training. The training comprises legal training modules, learning paths and role-specific educational content.
According to Kunes, the organization’s dealerships fully comply with the FTC’s new obligations.
“In today’s market, reputation and brand loyalty can make or break a business,” Kunes said. “To stay competitive and continue providing award-winning service we are dedicated to improving every aspect we can at Kunes.”
