Five local projects around Lake Tahoe are receiving funding fueled by the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA).
The USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU) was granted $85,000 from the act’s first funding round. Chosen projects will focus on reducing deferred maintenance and enhancing recreational infrastructure.
Recreation site amenity replacement, road access improvements and campsite spur upgrades are among the highlighted projects.
