Lazydays Holdings on Tuesday completed its acquisition of Chilhowee RV Center , a dealership located outside Knoxville, Tennessee.
Chilhowee is a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which Lazydays stated is the most visited U.S. national park, with more than 11 million annual visitors.
“We are extremely pleased to complete this acquisition and continue to execute on our geographic expansion strategy,” Lazydays Chairman and CEO William Murnane said. “This acquisition expands our footprint and product offerings in the Eastern Tennessee market, and allows for Lazydays to open standalone dedicated Airstream dealerships in Knoxville and Nashville. I am also delighted to welcome Leland Waggoner, the former owner of Chilhowee RV, and his outstanding team to the Lazydays family.”
The company stated it recently accelerated its geographic expansion rate. Chilhowee represents Lazydays’ fifth completed acquisiton over the last 11 months.
The acquisiton will be followed “shortly” by the company’s Reno, Nevada, transaction in addition to the Monticello, Minnesota, location opening this spring.
Lazydays currently operates 12 dealerships across seven states, with dedicated Airstream locations in Minnesota and Tennessee.
