Emma Falbo of Lazydays of Milwaukee (formerly Burlington RV Superstore) received the Duane Spader Leadership Development Scholarship for the 2022-2023 program year.

She received the award last week during the Young Executives Reception at the RVDA Convention/Expo.

The nearly $15,000 scholarship provides recipients free attendance to an 18-month Spader Leadership Development Program. The program is just one element of the partnership between Spader and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

Falbo is the general service manager at the Milwaukee store. Former Burlington RV Superstore owners Tim and Brenda Wegge said they had a good feeling about Falbo after her hiring interview.

“After we saw how she applied herself to every task she was assigned,” the former owners said, “we knew she was going to be something special.”

Falbo dedicated her acceptance of the award to the Wegges and thanked them for their ongoing support, guidance, and friendship.

The scholarship is named after former RVDA chairman Duane Spader. The joint arrangement promotes leadership development programs for RVDA members and provides one annual scholarship. This scholarship is part of a broader program of RVDA educational opportunities directed at Young RV Executives.
