A day after the appointment of Lazydays’ Interim CEO Ron Fleming, the dealer named Amber Dillard as chief operating officer.
Dillard was promoted from her previous positions as vice president of operations. She will report to Fleming.
Fleming said, “I have worked with Amber for over a decade and am extraordinarily pleased to see her continue to exceed expectations and further extend her contributions to Lazydays.”
In her new role, Dillard will continue working with OEM partners and dealership general managers to drive operational performance and meet consumer needs. Dillard joined Lazydays in 2011 and worked in various roles including accounting, dealership operations, inventory management, supply chain and vehicle purchasing.
She said, “It has been a privilege to continue to grow within the Lazydays organization. Over the last 13 years, I have had the pleasure of working across most of the functions in our business and with all of our OEM partners as we adapt to and meet the needs of our customers.”
Dillard is on the Lazydays Employee Foundation Board of Directors. The program is dedicated to contributing to at-risk children in dealership communities.
In 2017, RVIA recognized Dillard with its 40 under 40 award. Before joining Lazydays, Dillard worked in public and non-profit accounting with an emphasis on internal audit.
