One week after turning down a takeover bid for the dealership, Lazydays RV plans to open two greenfield locations in 2023.
Lazydays RV will open dealerships in Surprise, Arizona, and Wilmington, Ohio. The company stated the dealerships are expected to open in the second quarter of 2023.
“We are excited to bring the Lazydays brand and our best-in-class customer experience and service excellence to these new markets,” said Robert DeVincenzi, Lazydays interim CEO.
The dealerships will be branded Lazydays RV of West Phoenix and Lazydays RV of Ohio. The Surprise location will serve western Phoenix and Wilmington is located between Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton.
“The Surprise, Arizona location complements our current Arizona dealerships in Phoenix’s East Valley and Tucson; while the Wilmington location is conveniently located between three attractive Ohio markets,” DeVincenzi said.
The Surprise dealership will sell brands including Newmar, Coachmen, Thor and Forest River. The Wilmington dealership will sell brands including Tiffin and Thor.
Both dealerships will offer used RVs and include 20 service bays, a collision center and an RV parts and accessories store.
