Lippert announced its Furrion subsidiary acquired substantially all the business assets of Way Interglobal Network. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Way Interglobal CEO Wayne Kaylor and partner James L. Conway founded the supplier in 2009. Since its founding, Way Interglobal expanded its product lines to include Everchill and Greystone appliances alongside solar power and electronics.
Lippert acquired Furrion, an RV appliance and electronics supplier, in 2021. Lippert said the Way brand would not continue after the acquisition but the company would incorporate the Everchill and Greystone brands into Lippert’s appliance product portfolio.
“With the addition of Way Interglobal and its associated brands to our core lineup of products,” said Ryan Smith, group president of Lippert’s North American OEM businesses, “Lippert has now become one of the largest and most innovative appliance suppliers in the RV industry.”
The acquisition does not include Way’s current power generator assets and operations.
Way Interglobal recently opened an 800,000-square-foot facility with warehouse, showroom and administrative space.
Lippert said the acquisition will add Way’s North American research and development (R&D) capabilities and the company’s Hong Kong and Arizona R&D teams in the appliance and HVAC segment. Lippert will gain a combined 1.6 million square feet in appliance warehouse space.
“Lippert will continue to push forward with innovation in this space with our combined resources,” Smith said, “developing the products and solutions that our industry needs as we closely follow the ongoing trends of our markets.”
