Lippert will debut new European-made products and prototypes at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon 2024, Aug. 30 to Sept. 8 in Germany.
Among the supplier’s OE and aftermarket products scheduled to be on display are Type B motorhome doors and leveling systems.
Lippert Europe, Middle East, Africa Caravanning Managing Director Lorenzo Manni said, “After years of challenges in the industry, we are now focusing on market standardization and technical support, working to reduce costs without compromising quality for our end customers.”
Lippert’s first Type B door, the Simply Trail, accommodates caravan RVs at a lower cost. The door is derived from Lippert brands Metallarte and RV Doors. The door may be enhanced with features including a window with a blind and a dustbin container.
Lippert will display the Altair and Altair Open roller blind solutions. The Altair features a four-sided closed frame while the Altair Open features a three-sided open frame. The blinds are built with lightweight polyvinyl chloride (PVC) frames and polyester blinds. A clutched sliding mechanism eases opening.
Lippert will unveil the new generation of the Elektroblock EBL power supply system. Schaudt, a company Lippert acquired in 2021, makes the product. The power system includes a DC-to-DC booster that can recharge through a smart alternator. The EBL e-SmartWave system works with various RV devices, including air conditioners, but is not yet in production.
Among the supplier’s aftermarket offerings on display is its Level 9 leveling system prototype. The system includes a pair of wedges connected to an app. Through the app, consumers can level the vehicle.
