Lippert Components, Inc. launched a new online digital took to simply ordering custom-built RV axles and replacements.
The Custom Axle Builder enables customers to configure spring and torsion axles with basic and advanced options. Lippert Vice President of Sales Bob Boone said the online tool was an industry game-changer.
“By streamlining the custom axle request process, we are not only enhancing the customer experience but also reinforcing our position as one of the fastest trailer axle suppliers in the industry,” Boone said. “This tool makes it even easier for customers to identify and order a custom axle, whether for a replacement or a new trailer build.”
The Custom Axle Builder features interactive visuals and guided help text. The tool also validates in real time selected components’ availability.
The online tool replaces a traditional PDF request form. Lippert said the digital tool significantly reduced the time needed to generate a quote and place an order. Customers receive pricing more quickly and can submit their requests within the same or next business day.
Lippert said most custom orders would be ready to ship within five to seven business days.
