Time is running out to register for the George O’Leary National School of RV Park and Campground Management, presented by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds from Feb. 20-24.
This year, the school will be back in session in-person at the Embassy Suites in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Registration closes by Feb. 15 and is available online through the ARVC website. National School registration is available to all outdoor hospitality owner/operators, National ARVC active campground members, and National ARVC Associate members who have met the course requirement.
The educational seminar provides separate curriculums for first-time and returning students. First-year students will learn about key trends in the industry, management principles, budgeting and risk management. Second-year students will focus on the guest experience for driving decision making and business planning, before diving into specifics like analyzing marketing approaches, challenging employee conversations, creating a budget and long-term strategic impacts of risk management.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion, based on which course was taken. Year 1 will receive the Outdoor Hospitality Management (OHM) certificate, Year 2 will receive an Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) certificate. Additionally, attendees will receive ongoing continuing education unit tracking, structured networking and relationship building opportunities, access to resources post event and advance notice of upcoming events and education opportunities.
