KZ Recreational Vehicles hired Jason Overholt as its new director of marketing and communications.
Overholt brings with him years of experience in marketing analytics, content strategy and customer acquisition, the company said. Previously, Overholt was a journalist. He oversaw digital news products for WSBT-TV in Mishawaka. He also led marketing efforts at Leer, a truck cap manufacturer.
Overholt taught journalism and photojournalism classes at IU South Bend since 2012, and he recently joined the board of advisors for Valparaiso University’s new user experience program.
“I am proud to join an industry that is so vital to the area where I was born and raised,” Overholt said. “I am even more proud to join a company that cares so much about integrity and the quality of its product.”
Overholt will develop and deliver marketing campaigns for the KZ and Venture RV product lines.
“He will be a great asset to our team,” said Marlene Snyder, VP of sales and marketing. “We are looking forward to leveraging his expertise to help us improve our online user experience as well as develop new ways to reach potential customers.”
Through his leadership, KZ plans to improve the customer experience, increase customer engagement and drive sales.
“With his help, KZ looks forward to increasing brand visibility and furthering its position as a leader in the RV industry,” said Aram Koltookian, KZ president.
